3 up & 3 down - Week 8
Here are the guys who came to play.
Miguel Tejada is warming up. Last week he hit .409 with 3 home runs, 8 rbis and 5 runs scored. If you can grab him at a lower value he will be worth it the rest of the way out.
Carlos Delgado appears to be breaking out of his year long slump. Many owners have been frustrated with his performance but will be rewarded for their patience. Last week he hit .360 with 2 home runs, 6 rbis, 5 runs scored and he even stole a base.
Livan Hernandez had a productive week. In his two starts he had a 2.12 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP. He only got one win, but the two quality starts will make his owners happy.
These guys did not.
Lance Berkman had started to hit prior to this week but he ran into another slump. He scored 2 runs and drove in one while batting .136.
Tim Wakefield had a very poor week. He gave up 10 runs in 12 innings pitched while only striking out 6. He did pick up a win in his second start because of the run support he received.
Derrek Lee appears to still be feeling the effects of his neck spasms as last week he hit .154 with 3 rbis, no home runs and just 1 run scored.
