3 up & 3 down - Week 6

There were quite a few unowned guys who came up big in week 6.

Here are the guys who came to play.

Jack Cust has been the Man. In 7 games since being traded to Oakland he has 6 home runs. He can’t keep this up but Oakland is more than happy with the production from a guy that they acquired for a player to be named later.

Not wanting to be shown up by the new guy Dan Johnson also helped out his Athletic teammates with 3 home runs, 10 runs scored, 6 runs batted in all while hitting over .500.

The top pitcher this past week was Brad Penny. He had 2 wins and 18 punchouts, while keeping his ERA under 1.

These guys did not……..

After pitching well up to this point Mark Hendrickson had a poor week. Yes we did pick him as a potential stud for the week, and were we ever wrong.

After starting to show the promise that the Twins always had for him Reds fans got to see what the real Kyle Lohse is like. 9 runs in 11 and 1/3, while giving up 15 hits and 5 walks.

Jimmy Rollins crashed hard this past week. He recorded 2 hits in 25 at bats, while scoring 1 run and driving in 1. 0 stolen bases for the week as well.
