3 Up & 3 Down - Week 3
Everyone knows about the great weeks from A-Rod, Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran but they weren’t the only ones having a great week.
Three Up
Michael Barrett had a great week for the Cubs, 4 home runs and 10 rbis make him not only the top performing catcher but one of the top hitters of the week.
Bill Hall broke out of his season slump in a big way. His 9 runs, 9 rbis, and 3 home runs helped power the Brewers to a great week.
Mark Burhle is showing signs of his old form after he no-hit the Rangers this past week. If you took him late in your draft you have got to be excited about your pick now.
Three Down
As bad as Jeff Weaver has been he may not make this list again because he can’t really get lower than he is now. Between his two starts he went 9 innings and gave up 10 runs and had a WHIP of 2.00.
Miguel Cabrera slipped in a big way this last week, only 2 hits but one of them was a home run.
Pat Burrell went 4/17 last week and scored one run. You can expect great things out of Pat the Bat but you expect more than that.
