Studs & Duds Week 5
Lets see how we did in Week 4….
Studs
Jimmy Rollins continued to be a fantasy stud in week 4. With 4 stolen bases, 3 home runs, 10 runs, 6 rbis and a .344 average Rollins was the stud of baseball.
Kelly Johnson kept up his hot bat with a .400 average and 9 runs scored.
While Jake Peavy didn’t pick up the win in his only start this past week but that was not his fault. His 16 ks should be one of the more dominating performances of the season.
Duds
Dan Haren proved us wrong and went out and pitched great again this past week. In fact we looked silly as he was the second best pitcher last week.
Michael Young wasn’t really a dud this past week. He looks like he might be getting back on track.
Jermaine Dye did hit two home runs this past week but with a .222 avg and 2 rbis make him a dud for the week.
Now for a look at Week 5
Studs
Chase Utley is starting to heat up and week 5 will be his break out for the early season.
Manny Ramirez has been a dud for the first month of the season but Manny can’t stop being Manny forever.
Bartolo Colon had a great first start of the season and his second will be against the Royals. Look for him to continue what he started last week.
Duds
Victor Zambrano has been a dud for awhile and this week he is facing the dangerous Indians lineup.
Ryan Zimmerman has not hit this season and this coming week he will be facing the Padres and Zambrano and Hill of the Cubs.
David Wright has struggled so far this season and this won’t be the week he breaks out of it.
