Each week, MoundTalk will give you our picks for some guys with everything going for them for the coming week.

Delmon Young is prime for a big week. After a good start to the season, Young is ready to take his show on the road this week. Visiting Texas is a treat for any power hitter and following a set in Arlington, Young heads to Minnesota.

Speaking of the Rangers, Hank Blalock is our second stud for the second week of the baseball season. Blalock has looked a lot better in the first week of the season.

Our final pick for a hot week is Ervin Santana. He’s got two starts this week against Cleveland (in Milwaukee) and at Boston. Although both of these teams have good offenses, Santana has looked real sharp so far this year.

Duds.

Although this might seem obvious, Victor Martinez, the potential disabled list candidate, is our first choice to be a dud this week.

Wilson Valdez is our second dud of the week. A popular pickup when Furcal went down, MoundTalk does not have high expectations for Valdez this week.

Mike Jacobs is our final dud of the week.
