Average Roto League
Last year I compiled data and analyzed what the “average” Yahoo! fantasy league looked like. This was based on 12 teams, standard 5×5 cats with standard games/innings limits. Once again, I’ve collected data and have everything ready for you to read.
First, a little about the data. The information was collected from private leagues so the numbers are no skewed by teams that drop out before Opening Day or don’t frequently check their team. This is not a perfect method of course, but it proved nearly uniformly accurate in the three leagues I participate in that use these settings. The data was collected from 428 leagues with the data points volunteered to me and sent via screen shot.
