Fautino de los Santos has been shut down with elbow soreness. I do not know the extent of the injury but of course, elbow soreness is never good.
Eric Young Jr will miss a month with a hamate bone surgery.
Padres prospect Will Venable is back from his injury though he’s not 100% and will DH.
Brent Lillibridge was optioned to Triple-A.
Rich Hill was sent down to Triple-A. Kevin Hart will also be sent to Triple-A Iowa.
Andy LaRoche was activated & will go to Triple-A.
