Settling in for an afternoon of work here. I caught Neftali Feliz’ start last night…if you can call it that. I’ll have a brief write up on him and Engel Beltre soon. I don’t want to do a full scouting report like I had hoped to because Feliz was so bad. Note though that he didn’t allow a hit!
I’ll also work on a Shooter Hunt scouting report. I was able to catch his game against Houston on television Friday Night. That should be up this evening as well.
Finally, I’ll be on a local radio show this week (and every week) talking…what else…baseball prospects. I’ll be able to post that radio show, minus all the commercials and non-prospect junk. I hope to have that available for download by Wednesday.

Sweet. Now I’ll have something even better than lullabyes to put my kids to sleep
I didn’t know that Neftali Perez was converted to a pitcher, you are full of great insight.

Cool. I don’t know much about Feliz but I drafted him pretty late in that CEO league since Baseball Prospectus was all over him (5 star prospect?)

He’s a big upside guy because of the fastball (comfortably in the mid-90s) but, like many young pitchers, there are command issues that stem from inconsistent mechanics. If you get him late in a prospect draft like you were able to, I think he’s a steal.
