I received and email today asking for me to write something about how steroids/HGH etc affect minor leaguers and prospects and my comments on the Mitchell Report. Here they are:
Steroids undoubtedly affect minor leaguers and prospects. I don’t know how much. Frankly, I don’t care to speculate. I think it’s fair to say many, many players have cheated at some point in their careers. As to my comments on the Mitchell Report, I haven’t read it and I think the subject will be beaten to death over the course of my lifetime.
Top 10s are moving along and the Pittsburgh Pirates will be posted either tonight or early Friday morning.
